I have a 2008 sport trac limited v8 4x4. Recently the center bezel where the climate control is mounted to those studs bike and the climate control fell in. I bought a new bezel and it came with a memory button. It had the tail of the wires connected to it where they cut if from the vehicle and I have that exact plug in my dash and that plug was sitting free. So I plugged it it and TADA nothing. Absolutely nothing. I’m wondering where the “memory” is stored and if it is possible to unlock it in the computer or from what I have found maybe the 8 way seats from an explorer has the memory? I was also thinking that the memory it were any good would remember the pedal and side view mirror position. I’m sure this is more than possible but just maybe there is a way.
