Metal tool boxes

Has anyone drilled a metal or plastic tool box into the plastic bed or fiberglass side rails ....

....Any hardships or success for either way?

Not looking to just secure a box with cable.

I had a metal box held in by a single bolt with a spreader base drilled through the front of the bed.. worked well.. no issues..
