Looks like the close loss to App State was not just a fluke. Early in the 3rd and Oregon is trauncing Michigan 32-7... wow a 25 point lead. Myabe even a bowl game is out of reach for this team.

Bummer. :(

Now is the time for Michigan to fire lloyd carr........thats all im going to say on this topic. All of you michigan haters..... Have at it!!

I'm a Gator living in Atlanta! I catch flack from them Bulldog people, but then I remind them about the 2 time basketball & '06 football season! :D

Could it be that App loss just destroyed their spirit and confidence?

It may just take a little time to get it back. Keep the faith.

I disagree. How short ago everyone called for Paterno's head. The reality is that sometimes, you have a recruiting class that doesn't pan out, and you catch some bad breaks. Michigan's a mess, but Carr can dig them out.

On the other hand, I say fire Charlie Weis. Nothing was better than seeing dear old State hand ND the same lump of whuppin' that ND handed PSU last year. However, our QB, Morelli.... argh. He's not an answer, and I don't look forward to what other mistakes he makes this season. Amazingly, he was a huge recruit when we got him (replaced that idiot Henne, who backed out of a commitment to PSU). Morelli is a great example of blue chip talent that simply never met expectations.

At least OU is undefeated. They clobbered Miami. Heck, even my hometown Kentucky Wildcats are 2-0. I don't remember the last time THAT happened! :)

Oregon proved that the App St. win last week was NOT one of the greatest all-time upsets, but was instead simply dethroning one of the greatest all-time overrankings.

Michigan fans, I feel your pain. Being a PSU fan, we have felt just what you are feeling. Not to long ago, we were calling for JoePa's head. If I remember correctly, I think we started the season with a loss to Akron (not that we were ranked at the time as you guys were). I'm not going to lie and say that I don't find amusement in the losses you have had the past 2 weeks, but I'm not going to rub it in. PSU still has to play your team before the year is out. Every team has a rough stretch, this year it's your turn. As with every team, they will get it turned around. Hell, maybe you can take comfort in the fact that you will now get to play "spoiler" for the other teams you face that may have "Champion" hopes.

On another note, I agree with you AdamCKach on the Charlie Weis post and that boy Morelli needs to get his head out of his butt and start playing up to the hype that brought him to Happy Valley.;)

Not a loss to Akron--it was a whuppin' by Miami in 2001 to start the season, before Miami went off the deep end. I was still sitting in the freshman student section in '01. :)
