I never realized how many times I just get in the truck to do small runs. Truck is in the shop till at least friday. Cleared my schedule (self employed small contractor).

Cleaned basement, work trailer & house. Getting antsy:cry: So is this how retirerment might be like? Well I guess things could be a whole lot worse. :eek:fftopic:

I know what you mean.. Mine was in the shop for 2 weeks to get the engine replaced.. Drove me nutz! I got to drive my wife's Lexus and I actually missed the Trac..

I too know what you mean as ours is in the collision repair shop for warrenty issue with the clear coat on the hood and fenders. The work was done about 7 yrs. ago, and there is a lifetime warrenty on the paint, so it is being done for free. We get it back tomorrow. :driving:

I'm still enjoying the Geo Tracker! Might sell the bike and get one to mess around in! Every day my Trac is in the shop is another day of less mileage!

I don't think the wife woman will give up her Mustang. Sure she would, but I can't do much contruction work or tow the cargo trailer with it. I'm just whining a bit. Its funny how we like our vehicles. She doesn't care to drive my ST & I don't care to ride with my backside sitting on the ground as I'm driving. The trac is nowhere a big truck, but I like to be elevated just a bit while driving. I do drive the car from time to time , but would never want it as a daily driver. I got the vehicle I wanted and she got what she wanted. Life is good.

Amen to that. I just spent this past week with my 80yr old mom. She said, she liked riding in my trac. Suprised me, since she drives a grand marquis..
