After having 3 test bodies out on the road, I am pleased to announce I have them for sale.

I get 6 done at a time, I currently have 4 for sale.

This is a stock 2001 JOB 2 to 2005 v6 4.0 sport trac throttle body that is modified to allow more air flow through the throttle body. The modified ones allow 26 more CFM over stock. The new ones flow over what a 70mm throttle body will flow.

The gaskets are reusable on these, the Job 1 is NOT.



Please contact me first since I only have 4 right now, and will do 6 at a time as not to kill the machine shop.



The price is $135.00 with shipping and insurance included plus a $65.00 core charge. I will need you to ship your old one back to me before I return the core charge.

Jackie, No dyno results...

Too expensive for me to do a before and after here...



There is no need for a re tune, the curve Wayne sets up will Handel the extra flow on the tunes you already have..

Hey Todd, Off the subjesct but I had read something about the UDP adding like 12hp? How does that translate into performance? 0-60 times etc? Thanks
 
Tonka, Every 100 HP is about a second in the 1/4 mile....

So it will eliminate a tenth or so. But the engine noise is allot less, and the strain on the crank from the accessories is les, so the engine runs quieter as well..

All making more power and better drive-ability..

How about dyno sheets?



And what EXACTLY is the difference between the two? Did you just use different bolts and plate, or did you bore it out, ...? What makes it better than stock?
 
No dyno sheets; I went to the dyno in February, but probably won't be again til July.



It's smoothed out, you can see the lip on the tube in the first pic. The valve that holds it in is flattened, not sure if it's replaced or what, and the screws are smoothed down. It flows 26 more cubic feet per minute than a stock throttle body.



It doesn't do much for the low end, but mid range power is improved and throttle response is awsome. When I floor it, there is no hesitation, it's just a kick in the rear and the truck takes off. I let my roommate drive my ST and he couldn't believe he was driving a V6 Explorer. Granted, I have other modifications, and the more exhaust mods you have, the more you'll benefit from this. I'm planning on getting headers and a MAFS later this year, as well as removing one more catalytic converter, and that will basically be all I can do for my exhaust; it will be as free flowing as possible. The throttle body is just one of the bottlenecks that you overcome when wanting more power.

I just finished installing a t-body on a 2002 with mac intake and dual exhaust. The truck has nothing else, No tuner, no Maf, nothing, and the difference was noticeable, better throttle response and mid to top end was noticeable...



IT is as Jeff said something for the people looking for that extra little bit.

This replaces the stock and fits with no modification. If your K&N fit the stock throttle body, the new throttle body will fit the K&N; so yes, it will fit with no problem.
