Posted this last year on EF. Many have replaced their lower ball joints with the ever so popular Moog K8695T "Problem Solver" ball joints. Moog has never offered rubber dust boots separately, and there is no direct aftermarket replacement. Providing they are properly greased, Moog ball joints are known to far outlast the rubber dust boots that are prone to dry rot regardless of environment. Moog usually will NOT honor the lifetime warranty because of boot failure. It became such a big problem that Moog redesigned the K8695T that has no external or outer boot, After much trial and error I tried the Energy Suspension 9.13130 universal polyurethane boots available in black or red. Also found an effective way of separating the ball joint stud from the tapered hole in the knuckle/spindle with the use of a floor jack and castle nut socket. I'll post if anyone's interested.
