Well, after have the tranny re-built for a second time I am keeping an extremely close eye on it for any leaks ete. There are 2 things that have improved it imensely: 1. Having the drive shaft harmonically balanced, with new U-joints, has made a huge difference & virtually eliminated hwy noise & shifter vibration; 2. Putting silicone sealant in where the Hurst shifter makes contact with the tranny has elliminated the fluid leak that I was getting. See previous posts for changing out the rubber freeze plugs, on top of the manual tranny, to metal ones; that is also a known source of trouble. :D

I am still amazed at how quiet our ST is now running after haveing the drive shaft balanced and new U-joints put on.
