As I said, I thought the joke was kinda funny, and pointed out that some like Darin might take it as misplaced humor. If that gets your panties in a bunch, I'm not sure what I can do.



BTW, the joke would have been funnier if I hadn't read it just two months ago on this same board (a gentle reminder we all should search before posting).



Hope you stay, but if you are easily offended you might want to forgoe the Internet altogether.

Gerry, if you choose to stay away, I will be sorry, but I cannot fix the problem you are referring to without causing other (larger) problems.



It's not possible to interact with hundreds of other people and expect everyone to get along, say the right thing, do the right thing, etc. The Internet reflects real life in this respect, and in some situations, makes it worse.



You have to be willing to accept, when socializing in a large group, there will be people who offend your sensibilities. To combat this, you do the same thing here that you do with such folks in real life: Minimize your interaction with them, or ignore them, and focus on the people you like to deal with.



I am not talking about posting rules violations. If that's a problem, refer it to me directly via email and I will address it.

Gerry, you need to loosen up. You take things way to seriously. Me, I don't really take anything serious, except my job of course. Sure I've had some heated discussions on this site before but I get over it and either respect others opinions or ignore them. If you stick around you will get to know some of these opinionated guys are really not that bad and you will come to like them.

Heck I even like Q.

That is just one of the reasons that I still have a good relationship with Bill Barber. I've learned where people are comming from and work with it. Our stance is that we are on this earth having a Human experience, and some are having a more human experience than others.

I've left this site twice for the very same reason you left. Take a break from it, and see if you can come back. Being military like me, I am sure you've had that troop that was hard-headed and wouldn't listen to anyone, because he thought he already knew everything.
