My ipod just froze... what do I do

I have a 6GB iPod mini and on my trek today (300km's to calgary) it froze up on me. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this. no buttons are responding

Is there a llittle button to push to reset it. My Rio has one.

Toggle the hold switch on and off about 10 times and then to the off position and then hold down the menu and select button for about 6 to 8 seconds and it will reset. You can google and get the same instructions.

My iPod froze a while back. Just hold the menu button down to reset it like Chuck said. That should do the trick.

You should not have to do it ten times. Apple says it only has to be done once, just to save you some time. The rest of the directions are right though. I had to do it on my 5G once, its easy.

put it in the microwave and unfreeze it. It works kind of like a frozen burrito.
