My new Nephews- Please Pray for them

Hey guys, My sister gave birth two twin boys early this morning (12:25am). She was only 33 weeks along. They were around 5lbs each but the 2nd baby that came out was having problems breathing and they were both rushed to another hospital soon after the C-section. My sister wasn't able to see them after she delivered (not sure if she's seen them yet this morning). I can't get down to the hospital until later on tonight but I will give you an update if I hear any news. These are my sister/brother-in-laws first kids- they caught up to me and my wife in 1 shot though (I have two boys- 3 and 2- they're excited to meet their cousins).

Best wishes, my twins were a very similar story. Scary first few weeks, but now they are 18 months. NICU's are amazing places full of wonderful people who will do all they can for your family.

I spoke with my mom and she said that they pulled the breathing tube out of Sam who had the breathing problems. So far he is doing good they say. Quintin is the name of their other boy and he should be able to cuddle up with mommy later tonight. My sister is currently working on getting discharged from the hospital she's at so she can be at the hospital with the twins, which is a little tough since she had a C-section. Apparently her insurance won't cover the babies if they are at a different hospital than she is, even though they are both Fairview hospitals. Hopefully she can get that worked out as money is going to be tight with them since they have twins now.

I wasn't able to see them last night. My sister had only gotten 1 hour of sleep in the last 40 hours so she was pretty beat. I'm headed over there after work to see them. Apparently Sam was taken off the ventilator yesterday but he still wasn't breathing on his own so he's back on the ventilator now.
