Don't let hope die Eddie, we never know whats gonna happen one day to the next. Steve, I live about 5 miles from Waco! Wen't to the junk yard today for some more parts. Got a trans crossmember that I can modify that should save me a lot of time in fabrication. Found it on the ground along with the correct collapsable steering linking. Got those two items, plus the 4 huge bolts and nuts that hold the front subframe to the frame rails, all for $35. My timing set for the motor didn't come in today but was promised to be here at 11 tomorrow so I am hoping to have the motor pretty much put together tomorrow night. Still don't have rockers, oil pump, water pump, or any accessories but I think I know what I am going to go with. Just gonna get most of the long block assembles tomorrow. Yesterday I swapped the axle back down below the springs in the rear because I was afraid it was gonna hit the frame when the springs compressed. Also got the front end buttoned up. Put it on its wheels and rolled it outside. It's only tacked together for the moment but it's looking good. The frame has some crazy rake but that will change when we get the right size tires in the rear and some weight on the frame. Will have more pics tomorrow night
