Being the newbie to the forum, i've immersed myself in it for the past week (except for the last two days where Hurricane Katrina left me in the dark) looking over new and old posts. I've found that my ST is farely low to the ground compared to other trucks, and that it looks better raised. I've looked over the old posts on the topic, but am still not sure what parts i would need to do this...HELP:(

It depends what type of lift you want. The easiest and probably most popular is a torsion twist and shackle lift. It will only cost you about 50 bucks for new shackles, plus the cost of alignment and a camber kit. There are also suspension and body lifts available for the trac.

T.J., most people get Warrior shackles. You can get them form Tellico4x4.com or many other offroading places. Be sure to get Warrior's and not some cheapo shackles from AutoZone or something. Youre better off spending the extra money for the extra safety. I dont know a lot about the camber.

TJ,

The shackles are about $50, and whatever the cost of an alignment is. You don't necessarily need a camber kit. I did not. You only need a camber kit if your alignment is thrown way out of wack from doing the torsion twist. Here is a shot with 33" tires to give you an idea of what it will look like. I like it too. The ride stiffened up a little but nothing too bad at all. [Broken External Image]:
