I'm interested in seeing which plug on the back of the 07 ST radio is connected to the factory subwoofer. If anyone has pin out details or a diagram, that would be great. It has the 3 plug setup and I believe it's the smallest connector that runs to the sub.

Thanks,

Pat

IT IS MORE THAN LIKELY THE SMALLEST ONE....BUT I'M JUST GUESSING TURN YOUR TRUCK ON BUT HAVE THE RADIO HANGING AND WEN YOU START PLAYIN SOME OF YOUR JAMS UNHOOK THE SMALLEST ONE AND IF THE SUBWOOFER CUTS OFF THEN VIOLA THATS IT....SAME THNG FOR THE OTHER ONES

Thanks. I agree that it's the smallest connector. I just wish I knew what pin was what. The installer that put my AVIC-Z1 in didn't connect the sub. I could take it back, but rather than be without my ST all day, I'd rather just wire the SUB OUT line to the ST and be done in 15 minutes. :D

Doesn't Crutchfield have a connector that plugs ino the factory harness?? When I was talking with them asking questions about the Z1, they told me there were different harnesses...one with sub and one without...

Yeah, they have connectors, but I need to know which pins in that connector I need to connect my Z1 to, in order to drive the sub.

what exactly are you trying to do

And four above:

Still clear as mud?

Pat,

I envy the unit. I'm still fighting the urge to sell my Garmin 7200 on eBay and kick it up a notch. How can one not like this (and, now I can place another online name to a Trac at LAP!):

LOL! That's my truck! Yes, it is always nice to meet you folks in person!

I searched the web over and haven't found anything yet. Looks like I may have to resort to visiting the auto-sound shop again. Just would rather not be with my ST!
