Need advice on Tonneau Cover

I have found a great deal on a 03' Black Tonneau cover, but have 3 questions for the group:





1. will an 03' astro tonneau cover fit an 01'?





2. has anyone seen a black cover on a different color truck? (mine is dark red)





3. how long does it take to install? I was thinking of meeting the guy half way, but need to know if this is something I can install in a parking lot or if I need to do it at home.

I don't see why it would not fit ...the bed didn't change until the 07's came out.



I have an 04 and the cover came off an 01 Red ST, that belonged to another member here... of course mine is OEM. But, no matter if the cover is coming from another ST ..it should fit.



I don't know about the Astro covers....but mine was pretty easy to add on. 15 mins tops.





and yes I've seen many black bed covers on different color ST's and other trucks all looked great and do look great especially when you have black items on your dark red trac to even out the look!
