Was wondering if anyone here can help find a pair of mudshields for my sport trac. My mechanic lost my wheel well mudshields while changing the spark plugs. Thanks in advance for the help.:)

You know, my 2005 Sport Trac only has one wheel well mudshield. I noticed that when I bought it new, but I haven't thought much of it. My father's 2005 Ranger doesn't have any either. What is up with this? Should I buy some or is it OK without them?

Judd,

Rumor has it that the "full" wheel well liners were discontinued and the short ones used in their place because of potential overheating due to poor ventilation that the larger ones created. So, with you living in Texas, IF you buy that story, you may want to think twice about getting the full liners for your truck.

Now, with that said, I have heard others from the South that run the full liners without problems.

I am about to enter my first summer here in the Northeast with them on.
