Need pics od bed please

I finally got a day off work and tried to install my bed extender and had no luck. For some reason I can not get it to fit. It seems that the bed extender is to small. Is there anything that I need to install it with other that the T-50 Torx bit? Did a Sport Trac that came with a bed extender from the factory have anything different than one that did not.? Does anyone have any pics of theirs that i can go by? Thanks for your help.

There are 2 pivot pins that go in the center holes. The top bolts are where the tailgate locks, then about 10 inches below that there are 2 holes with no threads. This is where you install the pivot pins. The extender clips to those 2 pins.
