I'm getting the ST lifted in March for my birthday and need some help picking out wheels. I like some of the American Racing wheels and have looked at some Mickey Thompson, but I haven't found something I really like. My ST is the dark charcoal color with black cladding, so I was thinking of doing black wheels or at least wheels that have some black in them. Any suggestions? I want an offroad wheel, so no crazy chrome spinners ;)

You didn't say if you want 15" or 16" wheels. A lot of the 16" have too much backspace for good clearance. Most 16x8's have 4.5" backspace. I did find a Pro Comp 1069 wheel, looks like the Mickey Thompson, but with only 4" backspace. It's probably what I'll get. Prowl around 4 Wheel Parts' site, they give you the backspace. Sport Tracs take a 5-on-4.5" bolt pattern.

I got mine from Summit Racing. They are U>S>Wheel brand or something like that. Black Daytona style 15" x 10" on 5 x 4.5" lug pattern. I believe 4" backspacing.

Depending on your tire size, yes. I would avoid wheels with more than 4" of BackSpace regardless of the width, or the tires will rub on the inside. 15x8's with 3.75" BS are pretty easy to come by, 16x8's with less than 4.5" BS are not.

Most American Racing 16x8's are 4.5" BS.

Most M/T 16x8's are 4.25".

You could get spacers but personally I'm not a fan of them.
