Where can I find the specs on the '01 Escape gearing VS. the '08 Escape?

Their must be a massive differnce in the gearing between our '01 and '08.

The '08 has one heck of a drop off in rpms and torque on aggresive throttle up. The '01 escape just kept pulling hard between gears as if it had close ratio.

POOF: Magically it is there...

Thanks todd..it appears to be the same ratios on the 4spd auto. Maybe it is lag time in the shifts. I will try reseting the computer then do some aggressive driving.

edit; the motors are the same 3.0 V6.

I h d to get a XCal for my Trib, it shifted so badly. The XCal makes all well.

Try escape-central.com for the best Escape/Tribute/Mariner board on the web, no kidding.
