New battery in key fob

Greetings to all,
I replaced the CR2032 battery in my key fob but when I press on it, nothing, zippo, nadda... Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Yes, the contacts are clean, free of corrosion and no breakage of any kind.

Yes, there are instructions on the inside of the fob on how to place the battery. I also checked my second key fob for further reference.

Key fobs are cheap and easy to program. I bought mine from Amazon.

I read that the there is a communication relay in the 2005-2010 Fords that fail over time. I’ve tried a few batteries and a few different remotes for both my STA and my wife’s Ford 500 with no luck.

Key fobs are cheap and easy to program. I bought mine from Amazon.

Considering the price of the batteries and the price of a 2-pack of new key fobs I bought the 2-pack and followed the instructions to code them to my ST. Easy peasy.
