Installed new rotors tonight. I bought slotted & drilled front rotors from R1Concepts. They look slick. took it for a test ride and all is good. Let's see how they wear now.

I have ran a set of drilled rotors on my EGT. I drilled them myself and they lasted for over 50,000 miles and not even a hint of cracking. The drilled rotors that crack are in racing aplications. I wouldn't think trice about usimg drilled rotors.

There are actually cars that come from the factory with drilled rotors. I can't think of any that come with slotted rotors...I wonder why!

We have this debate on another site all the time.

Drilled/Slotted are fine for the street.

Drilled /Slotted are bad for the Track/Racing as they will crack.

Slotted are fine for the Track/Race and Street. We run them on our race car and I know at least 50 other drivers that run them.

Of course we are running Brembo Rotors not cheap/crap off of eBay.

Dimpled and Slotted fine for the Street and Track.

I have 35 track days on a set of of EBC running Hawk Blue race pads. No sign of cracking and I check them when I put my track tire/wheels a week before a track day.

I get eight track days out-of a set of pads. However, I do get them at cost so that helps. Now I just need to find a Pagid vendor so I can get their race pads at cost...LOL
