new exhaust

does anybody know what the measurements are if i were to just buy a muffler instead of the whole cat back system. What do I look for? center to center etc? inside outside? Also has anybody heard of taking stock muffler off and using performance muffler intead? to save a little bit of money

I went to my friends shop and he put a flomaster 40 mufler in for me and didn't change anything else. I wish I had rather changed it all out but he only charged me $65 for everything.

For a muffler only, all you need is choice and 2 1/4" pipe size..the performance muffler will be half the lentgh of stock..you will need a shop to weld it in...

a guy in my area put on a flowmaster 40,then dual exits out the sides for $260. he does it out of his own shop.im sure that there is someone like that in your area, you just gotta ask around!
