I am hopefully going to be putting some new front pads on my ST this week providing the rain stops and i can get some free time to do it. i was just wondering if anyone here can reccommend some pads for me. i used to use quiet stops on my old explorer all the time because i used to get a squeak out of other brands after a couple thousand miles. does anyone have anything good to say about any or maybe some i should stay away from. thanks for everyone's help in advance!!

I've used NAPA Ceramix pads on several of my vehicles and I like them. Not on the Trac, yet, but I put them on the Ranger I had before. Great feel, virtually no dust, and they don't cost a ton.

i definitely plan on getting new rotors. after about 20k miles i started getting a vibration that worsened as the miles added up. i decided to just stick it out until i needed to do the brakes so i would just change the rotors at the same time. now i'm also looking to do shocks while i'm at it. decided i'm gonna do that package deal on explorer express with the 4 edelbrocks and sway bar. if i'm gonna do something i might as well do it right and do it all at the same time. just gotta find a way to fit it in the budget before xmas.
