I own a 2001 Sportrac would like to replace the shocks and give the vehicle a little better ridedoes Pep boys have a decent shock for this or must I go else where.

If you plan on playing off road just a bit and want an on road quality ride, I recommend Old Man Emu. Same as before but a bit cheaper, BDS Shocks. I have both and love both, but favor the Old Man Emu. The OME especially make the Monroes and Ranchos feel like garbage. I have had both the Monroes and the Ranchos and will take the OME's every time. Their a bit more expensive, but if you can't afford it, go with the BDS.

First, describe what you mean by a better rider. And, what is your main use of the ST? Also, plan on getting the Explorer Express anti-sway bar for the rear.
