I replaced the OEM GY RTS's several thousand miles ago because of poor wet weather traction and feathering on the inside track (towards engine bay) of the front tires. Now with GY Fortera Silent Armors I'm seeing the same thing happening to the front tires. I got an alignment when I got these new tires and had OEM adjusting-washers installed instead of using aftermarket camber kits.

I'm about due for a rotation so I'll have that done along with another alignment for safe measure, but help me I'm thinking of going to my local dealership for this work. At least I've had pretty good luck with them and they've done quite a bit of warranty work on my Trac already. But mostly, I'd like to hear what they have to say about this recurring issue with the tires and whether or not they'll try to sell me camber kits although the Ford shop manual says they are not needed (adjusting washers only).

Ya Todd, I think I've had my Monroe Reflexes for over 20K miles now (my current mileage is just over 36K). Which Goodyears did you get? I think I've put about 8K miles on my Forteras.

I have had the same issue with the Goodyear RT/S and with the Revos that I have on the truck now. I have Monroe Reflex shocks and had the ball joints inspected when I had the front end aligned last time. Last shop told me the front end wasn't aligned properly (toe out). He also said the Revos were not a good choice for the Sport Trac because they were easy to warp on a truck that had a problem with warping tires. He suggested the Michelin LTX, though I'm not sure I want to pay that much for my next set of tires given the warping of the first two sets.
