Looking into some new tires for the ST. 255-70-16 Anyone have the Yokohama Geolander HTS. Do you like them?

Don't know about that specific tire, but in general, Yokohamas get a VERY HIGH rating from me. Only all-weather tire we ever got CLOSE to 80K miles before changing.

I havent heard much about the HTS version, but I have rave reviews for the ATS from a buddy of mine, he works on the drilling rigs up here and has to drive through everything and swears by them. Personally Im a fan of the BF Goodrich AT's

There is a member here that has them and said they are great on the trac.

I have the yok/hts on my wifes escape. They ride and handle ecellent, wet or dry.

I plan to put them on my trac...Tire rack.com gives very good rating..

I have the 265-70-16's on my ST. I have had them for a couple of months and love them. Quieter and a lot more surefooted then the stock Goodyears. I also just put the HTS's (245-65-17) on my wife's Explorer. Got them at Discount Tire when they were doing a rebate on them.

I had them on my 98 Ranger, I really liked them at first and they look really sweet but after a couple thousand miles I couldn't keep them balanced the dealer tried several times and couldn't get them, they gave me a new set and I had the same problem. the tires would cup really bad and start getting noisy, the alignment on my truck was perfect, just couldn't keep the tires balanced.
