New tires

i just ordered the Hankook Dynapro ATM's

265/70/16.



but how come where ever i try to order tires for

my 2001 ST they always say only 235's will fit.

I have a 2wd with 4x4 and factory tire size are

255's, its imprinted on the door. sooo i hope to be

expecting them by thursday. not bad tires for 516.00

Because, like our ST, the base tire size was a 235/70/16, and it also depends on whether one has a 3:73 (= 235/70/16's) or 4:10 (= 255/70/16's) rear end.

i have 3.73 gears and the door jam sticker says 255

Well Chris, that was what I understood. Maybe someone else can shed some light on the subject.

I have an 01 ST with 4:10 rear end and it came with 255/70/16's.
