Today I found some dry rot around the entire circumferance of my tires. It's about an inch out from the wheel. I hate the thought of having to buy new when these have a lot left in them (even though the're the OEM crap).

Having seen many pics and read of upsizing up to a 265/70-16 or a 75 series, I definitely want to upsize.

What are the perils of going up? How much error in the speedo? Gas milage? Etc...?

I'm thinking that the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos would be a good fit.

I have P265/75-16 REVO's. 265/70's should fit fine stock and without much speedo error, 265/75's like mine will likely need a little torsion twist and I just allow that my speedo is reading 10% low, confirmed by a radar sign in front of a toll booth I use regularly.

i also have 265 75 16 with TT/SL but the shackles are not necessary your ST will sit the same height front and rear and will not be so soft and sponge up front i have no rubbing Even off road my speed o is correct from my XCAL2 and my mpg's went up after mostly highway bigger = less rpm's + xcal helps also

Nah, TT an inch or so will be fine. I have shackles to get some extra lift because I DO go off-roading, but then I have a screw loose upstairs anyway. This time of year it's that much higher I have to climb to dump grass clippings in the bed though and I'm not getting any younger.

I plan on getting an alignment with the new tires. So I should crank it up prior to having any of the work done?

I'm hoping that the new tires combined with the sway bar and RSX's will make it drive like new.

Yes, do the torsion twist to level before the alignment. In my case, the alignment shop only charged me an extra $10 to do the TT so I just let them do it since it was January.

I have the Dueler Revos, 265/75R16, at stock height. Very minor rubbing if I make a sharp left-hand turn into a driveway. I go off-road, and have had no issues.

I upsized my tires in February. I have 265/70R16 Dueler A/T Revos. The xcal helps fix the speedo. I haven't given them much in the way of an off-road challege yet, that will change this summer. No complaints so far with them, I'm leaving on a 1000 mile trip this week, we'll see how it goes.

I recently got 255/70R16 Dueler Alenza's. The 255 size is just right. Don't have to worry about rubbing, doesn't change the speedometer much and fills out the wheel well just right.
