Sal,

Spare no expense! Awesome unit. I'll have to check it out in Louisville.

For future use, I recommend either purchasing a screen protector or some of Monster's "iClean." I have a protector on my Garmin, but the iClean does a fantastic job on the laptop. Both will keep your unit's screen looking like new.

Looks like a great system. Have fun on the install and I hope you show us the finished project.

On another note I had a few beers with your boss last week in Salt Lake City. We talked a lot of shop especially since my new boss (he was there too) used to work with you way back when.

Are you going to have this in Louisville? I would love to see it. I am using a Garmin GPS-V on my dash and would like to have something built in. If you are going to be there how could I find the truck to see the install? I am staying at the Jameson Inn. Probably be driving my red 05 ST with a black moped on a hitch carrier.

Actually it was Al Hunt and my new boss that you used to work with is Leon McGuire.

Your install looks great, how's the performance of the new system? Did you get navigation too?

Here's a pic of my Kenwood, real similar installation.

Sorry,

I forgot. Al was the one that went out there.

John S. was out there for Vacation about a week earlier.

Leon is a reat guy. I didnt work directly with him. But I hung out with him a bit.

I did get the Navigation, and the Back up camera.

Unfortunatly the Blue Tooth is not a direct hook up.

I have to figure out a way to mute the Stereo when Phone in use.

So far the performance of the Unit is great.

When we go to KY will be the big test. to see how well it works.

Sal,

I wish I could go, too much going on and too far from Oregon. Someday maybe I'll make it to Louisville.

As far as navigation I'm thinking of getting the KNA-G510 navigation for my Kenwood touchscreen. When I bought the Kenwood I looked at the Eclipse and I was impressed with the navigation system. I hope the Kenwood is as good.

By the way, McGuire is a Capt. now, sometimes I have to remind myself he's not enlisted anymore and remember to watch what I say to him.

Greg,

Talked to Al this morning. Said it was a good time. Maybe one day I can go on one of the cushy trips.

Navigation is Dead Nuts. So far. Need to go on a few bigger trips to make sure it works completely.

Tell Leon I said Hi. and hope he has fun.

I also hope to see you again at a meet. and not something serious with the military.
