Anybody else tired of them? What is the point? It's seemingly been going on forever.

Another way for the NFL to "bank" on more apparel and merchandise ?

I don't get it, most are "gaudy", IMO. :(

Some of the "Throw back uniforms" are not even throw backs. I saw the Denver game a few weeks ago and they were wearing what they called a throwback uniform and I never recall Denver wearing all red uniforms with red helmets??? They always had blue helmets with the letter "D" and a bucking bronco jumping through the "D".

Miami's uniforms have not changed and neeither has the Vikings, Bears, or Packers but they have worn some really strange uniforms in these throw back games???

I think it's OK to have one throwback game per year and it should be the same week for all teams and announce it's the throwback uniform game.

I tuned into the Steelers game a few weeks back and had no idea who was playing?? until they posted the score and showed the teams.

I don't know about the Vikings or Packers, but "da Bears" uniforms have changed several times since "Papa Bear" George Halas founded the team as the Decatur Staleys in 1920.

It's really stupid to have throwback uniforms for teams that have changed cities. Like the Titans using old Oiler uniforms. The people in Tennessee can't relate and the people in Houston don't care.

And "renaming" stadiums with corporate names that were once "dedicated" to honor individuals. That's another issue all together. Grrr!!!

Richard,

The Denver's throwback uniforms were mustard colored jerseys with brown pant and vertically striped socks. Dont recall them having red. They had orange, but we still had white pants and a blue helmet.

They should have anniversary week of the NFL and every team could wear "throwback" uniforms from whatever year they choose.

Who's playing in Miami's Super Bowl 44 at "Dolphin Stadium"? One week after the Pro Bowl.

Huh? Always thought the NFL All Stars played "conservative" in Honolulu a week after the Super Bowl.

"Touch" football, in the bigs. More exciting than watching paint dry or grass grow. Brilliant idea. Any more?

Super Bowl 2010 will be Colts vs. Vikings, for the Lombardi trophy. JMO, and stirring it up, early.
