o/d light

My o/d off light started flashing today..any ideas why? I turned the truck off and restarted it and the blinking stopped.

First sign of a Dangerous transmission problem.......



DO not drive it but to a tranny shop.....



you can need a simple shift solenoid to a complete rebuild !!

i had the OD light blink at 130k

i simply turned the truck off and havent experienced that again.

i now have 164k and tranny is still smooth

I had mine flash once about a week ago. Hasn't done it again! But if its a tranny I will simple drive it to a dealership and buy an F150..

In Craig's case would there be a code locked in if he were to get it checked, or would the light have to be flashing?
