Yep. Hit me again today...

I've decided that once they """fix""" this tranny it will be time for me to seek either a new trac or a 4 door toyota tacoma/tundra.

This is such a headache. I love the dam thing to death too..

my STing days may be coming to an end. :(

ohh i already expect that another new tranny is in order. lol i can't wait to see the service department clerks face. I hates me enough as it is... this will kill him!

Woppy, did you have the first one replaced, repaired, or rebuilt?

When my light came on 2 years ago, they replaced the valve body and solenoid valves. I still have a slight flare from 2-3, but (knock on wood), the OD light hasn't flashed since.

i'm on my 4th ford refurbished tranny. or so they tell me. for all i know they keep throwin junker after junker under her.

Most rebuilt crate transmissions that dealers use. Have a tag on them of the rebuild place and date. Do you see a tag. They might be getting them local from a cheap rebuilder. Not a ford qaulified rebuilder. The tags are usually rivet pinned to the side of the trans.
