Office 2007 help

I have a very close friend that is going to USC and has been using 07 office (trial I think) in her classes and now 07 has locked her out. She has bought Office 2010 but for some reason it won't let her access 07 stuff. Can anyone lend me a copy just long enough to help her finish her school? About 3 months. Thanks

Is using Oracle's Open Office an option? I've been using this on my laptop since I got laid off in May. Works 99+% like MS Office, and it's FREE. Doesn't help with her just buying Office 2010 -- just a thought.

If she has bought the 2010 version, she needs to do the following..



fully DELETE the 07 version from the computer. This will NOT affect her documents. Then install the 2010 version. You CANNOT install the 2010 over the 07 version. The computer will let you do it, but it will not function. It will revert to the 07 version and she will remain locked out as she has exceeded the trial open and close amount.



Remove the 07 version via the Control Panel. Do not delete the files (Documents), they will automatically be readable once the 2010 is installed and authorized...
