I just added a second stock fog light switch

I found the diagram for the fog light pigtail but does:

1) #3 Come right from my offroad lights ?

2) #5 i have tapped into radion illumination

3) #6 the on indicator what do i wire to it ?

I added a second fog light switch for my rear fog light. You HAVE to use a relay. The switch contacts won't carry the load of the fog lights.

It could be something with the amount of current the stock wiring can handle. Hopefully Jerry can chime in here as well.

Why do you need a relay?

The oem wiring is engineered to carry the current, for the oem device at its best. Always add a relay and fuse when tapping into oem wirring for the trigger for extra devices.

Your wiring harness will love you and not burn up. Plus with lighting you will get the full benifit of the light output..

Thanks for the info

Got it all figured out ncrancho sent me this link that i cant believe i did not find

Ok so i tried to hook battery to 30 the lights to 87 the switch to 86 an 85 ground no lights

But if i jump 86 to 30 lights come on

I was following http://www.mysporttrac.com/mysporttrac/projects/SecondFogSwitch/SecondFogSwitch.htm

So prong 6 is tapped into the wire that is going to 87 an prong 3 is tapped into 86
