I'm glad my SportTrac is stronger than me! Today I went down and picked up 1400 pounds of pelletized limestone and 480 pounds of fertilizer and spread it all on the lawn. The Trac took the load in stride (it was a little squirrelly with the stock sway bar), but now my back is killing me!

I got r all spread on the yard, though, and we have some rain in the forecast tonight. Maybe in a week or two I can start giving my new John Deere garden tractor a workout with the mowing!

Why didn't you use the tractor to spread the stuff??...:D

I know those days, my dad and I moved 16 cy of topsoil in a saturday last year to regrade my yard. 2 shovels 1 Rake and 1 wheelbarrow.... That hurts...

Plenty of alcohol recovery time works wonders

That's a good idea!

Actually, I did have a big Agri-Fab push-type spready that had a big hopper on it. It pushed pretty easy, but there was a lot of pushin' to do!

I swear the grass looks greener already!

Gonna put a pull-type spreader on my Christmas list! Thanks
