Well, it came and went, 3-6 inches of snow in Philadelphia PA, 8-12 where I work out west. When I pulled into the lot of my office building, in my ST ofcourse, there where probably 1/10th of the cars, or should I say Trucks and SUVs that are normally there. They hadn't even shoveled most of the snow off the parking lot yet, and just because I can, I parked through a snow drift, I'll probably pay for that later if it freezes, but darn was that fun! This is my first winter with my Sport Trac, and man do I love my ST even more!!! I'm one of a handfull that made it in, and I am the only one on my floor. I figure I can take this time to share another Weather related Sport Trac event with you all. Thanxs.

Hope some of you had as much fun playing in the snow through my 2 1/2 hour commute this moring as I did! Be safe, or those in warmer climates... enjoy your weather!

I have 4wd, tires are Bridgestone Dueler REVO's. Fronts are new, the rears are older and spun a little. I like them. Regular Dueler A/T's are very good in snow also, as are BFG A/T's and Pro Comp A/T's.

However, any 4x4 SUV is a bad winter car because they will expect you to be at work. The ideal winter car is something like a Lamborghini or Ferrari because then you can call in and say you're stuck and the boss will believe you. :lol:

Guys and Girls... it "snowed" a little here in Dallas Tx, but it didn't last a whole half of a day! Actually it was a mix of sleet, snow and powder puff drops! Oh well, it's in Texas, and I like it like that. So if you like SNOW, don't move to Texas unless you move into the panhandle of the state...er make that the state of Amarillo! LOL, all!

walter: I have stock tires and rims. I did have to use my 4X4 to get out of my neighborhood, but once I got out of the side streets and onto the highways, I did alright on just 2WD.

JohnnyO: I have a Miata, and I used to use that line, however, after my Boss found out about my Trac, I figure there was no way I could weasle out. Ironicaly, she's not here today.

:lol::lol::lol:

mrmarvyn: I guess that's what happens when the Cowboys beat the Eagles in Philly... it snows in Dallas...

:p:D:D

We have an AWD Mtn'er and the 4WD ST at home, and I still called in with a "work from home" day today when we got 8".

But that was mostly so I could clean out my walks and driveway, and decompress from my Denver trip. I could have made it no problem. The roads were fine.
