I had a lemon-peeler bike. I also remember a lot of those cars from my childhood. Back then those cars were cool, but they really look weird today. Those "wings" on the rear of cars were a dangerous fad. Dad had a 1962 Chevy Impala with them. He said it was hard to keep in control in windy rainy conditions. We hydroplaned and spun out once on the interstate in a driving thunderstorm in Albequerque and went down a 20-foot embankment. Dad was going 70 mph, and we are lucky to be alive, since there were no seatbeats back then.
