Just picked up my new boat.

I honestly don't know, it came with the truck when I bought it, and there aren't any markings on it. It's really nice though, single peice that locks and has gas assisted shocks for lifting, even tool-less removal.

JD, nice boat! The V6 Merc outboard powerhead under that deck is an excellent motor. The reliability of these jet boats improved dramatically once they did away with the little two stroke PWC motors.

Rodger, taxation on boats is practiced in most states. It's usually based on assessed value. Sucks. Somebody has to pay for the public schools. :)

Good to hear it's a solid motor. I need to figure out all the registration/tax crap tomarrow hopefully so I can get it in the water :)

Ohio must be different. We pay for schools with property tax. Cars, boats, RV's, etc. are personal property and not property tax. We buy a licence for the boat for like 20 bucks for three, or so, years.

Support fair tax and eliminate all these tax's that are barely legal but somehow we are too stupid to stand up against it. (Rich, I know you support the fair tax, so it was not directed at you.)
