If you do, and you want to get it legally and not pay a bunch, then you should really look at BroadClip.

BroadClip is like adding a Tivo to your PC in order to capture and record the songs you want that are played over Internet radio for FREE. And it is legal...if it's broadcast over the internet, for free, you can legally capture it for time-shifted consumption.

Take a look at the FAQ for BroadClip, setup a new account, download their app, tell them the music and artists you are interested in, and in a few hours all kinds of free music clips start showing up on your computer.

P.S. BroadClip is a startup. A friend of mine runs the company and he wants me to join them...and I just might!

I assume the quality of said songs would be quite poor? I know the internet radio I have hear a few times sounds like complete crap, which is expected. I personally would rather pay for quality music, then get it for free and have it sound bad. It's a good idea none the less.

Sintec,

I was skeptical too, but the clips I got were quite good. It depends on the station. Regular OTA FM stations that are simulcast on the Internet are often poor, and many people listen to them. However, those stations that only broadcast over the Internet often do so in near CD quality.

Give it a try.
