Overhead Console Install

Hello, I about to order a overhead console, I am wanting to get the other peices I need to do this install. My local ford deal isn't for sure what I need so they are guessing. They gave me a price for a bracket of $28.99 (are not for sure its the right bracket) and said that i need 3 different harnesses for the console because my ST didn't come with the console. They are priced anywhere from $32 to $79 for the harnesses.



1. does any one know what exact part numbers I need for a 04 XLT? (bracket, harnesses, etc)



2. What do i need to do with the temp sensor in front of the radiator?



3. place to find the bracket and harness cheaper?



Any advice would be helpful.

As you need everything, I would suggest contacting a salvage yard for your parts.



Many have done this mod, so they may step in and offer up info..

You're going to have to do some wiring harness making yourself. These harnesses are not plug-n-play. The dash harnesses are different. You can do it just don't expect to pick up a few pieces and drop them in. Don't let me discourage you. I'm just painting the real picture. I'll get you whatever info I can to ease the pain.:grin:

What do i need to do to do the harness? Do I need to bu something and mod that of make it from scratch?
