P0401 fixed

Went out to the truck yesterday morning, started it and the CEL came on and stayed. Went to Autozone, got scanned and code was p0401, of course. Told the guy I would be back today as i had to check with my "sources"



Made sure here that it was the code for the dpfe, went back, bought the part, and installed it tonight. Disconnected the battery, reconnected, and no more CEL.



Price? 29.00 and some change after my military discount.

Ken P0401 is the trouble code that indicates insufficient EGR flow. The DPFE sensor is the common culprit.





The snide comments aren't needed though. once you have been around awhile, you will understand the personalities here and the "search" function.
