On my trip from Denver (25 miles west of Charlotte) to Rocky Mount on Tuesdays, all interstate, it goes about 330 miles, not the round trip:angry:. That's on 12.5 +/- gallons. After it's broken in it'll get about 25 mpg city or highway.

My '08 E250 5.4 would go the round trip @ 465 miles and not be quite empty but it held 35 gallons.

Rumors are the 2012 will have the Eco-boost 2.0L.

Heck, that's still about 25 mpg... and it's not flat up there. (loaded down??) AND if I were to wait on rumors,,, DAMMIT,,, THAT'S ANOTHER YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have gotten 500 miles on my van,,, ONCE... REALLY EMPTY (35 gal)

Thanks

Mc G Ford here has a blue XL that's been on the lot 9 months. (21K sticker) I would think I could get a real good deal being 2011. Also, I can put cruise and keyless entry on it for 500$,, a lot less that an xlt and I can live without power windows.

Changed quite a bit since the early '80's. Charlotte has always tried to out-Atlanta Atlanta and they're about even now. Born & raised there, employed by the City for 30 years, moved to Huntersville in '79 and Denver (of the East) in '91. Nothing much there for me now. I work for a Charlotte based company, spend about an hour there 3 days a week. All my family has moved to Denver/Lake Norman except a brother who lives in Matthews now. :haveabeer: :haveabeer:
