I am looking at getting a set of Pathfinder Trail A/P tires and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with them. I can get a set installed for $501.00. Or should I get what came on the Trac when I bought it which is Goodyear Wrangler RT/S.

Dont buy another set of the GY rts...they are lousy tires...I dont have any experiance with the pathfinders...Iam looking at getting the yokahama ht/s...put a set on my wifes suv...they ride and handle excellent wet or dry...

dont get the crapyears they are no good!!!! i also dont have any expierience with the pathfinders but i have 31x10.5x15 bf goodrich and knock on wood never had any problems with them. suprisingly also very low road noise

I personally learned what a big difference tires make after I replaced my original set of Goodyear RT/S's at 29K miles. Because of good reviews I chose to go with Goodyear Fortera Silent Armors. They quieter and look much better than the RT/S's (granted these factors are a matter of personal taste).

My RT/S's still had plenty of tread left on them but I didn't like how they handled heavily wet roads. I've only had the Forteras for less than 200 miles and I haven't driven them on very wet roads but hopefully the reviews hold true as well in this regard. I'm also hoping they wear properly and do not decrease mileage.

I couldn't find any info on Pathfinders except for a single eBay review. But I wouldn't go back to Goodyear RT/S's neither.

Andrew, I have a set of those Pathfinders, bought last September. They are extremely good, and hold their tread wear even on some of these bad roads in Dallas. I am in about to get an alignment, rotation and balance as I speak. They look really good on my 01 ST, and with some nice chrome in a few weeks, It will set offf my Island Blue! GO FOR EM' :D

Yeah, don't buy the Goodyears again. They really suck. I havent had any experience with the Pathfinders, but one tire that I recommend is the Wild Spirit Radial MPT (in some areas Wild Country APT). These tires have excellent wet weather traction and they lasted me on my 2000 explorer through lots of miles and rough roads. I went through two sets on that vehicle. Plus, they look great also!
