As promised, here are some pics of the sub installed in the ST. I also just sent the project to Rich so hope it helps people out. Very easy install and great product. Make sure and post to let Jacob know what you think. He's very receptive to opinions and suggestions. Great to work with. Good luck Jacob and for the last time, THANKS!!!!!

Here is a pic comparing the size of the two boxes.

It isn't very appealing to the eyes, but then again whos gonna see it. Looks like it fits perfectly, how much was it again?

$125 shipped.

I can finish it with something different other than the plain black paint (but thats extra) and most people that are putting it in the storage compartment don't care.

I agree with the visual appearance. If I was putting one it it would have to be covered with some sort of fabric or felt like material to look good.

Stone, I installed the factory system in my Trac that had no sub in it. I drilled a series of holes through the cover in a nice circular pattern. Made a rather large difference and never had a vibration that I could hear coming from the cover..

JD i would make another and make it look a little nicer for your web photo, your quality could be the best but when people see the picture they will likely go on to another. sorry for the criticism i just want to see you succeed.

True bp, box is surely well constructed but for advertising do one w/some vinyl or carpet wrap ... same box just looks a lot more pro. Good work Jacob, keep it up :)

I just have to post that the box honestly doesn't look as bad as the pictures make it seem to be. The flash on the camera makes it look really rough. I tried many different ways to take the pics and nothing seemed to help. I could have had him put a cover on it but didn't really matter to me since it was going in the compartment.

Coastie, I haven't had any vibration from the cover yet. It was tight to close and it doesn't have any free-play in it for it to. I like the idea of maybe putting some holes there to get alittle more sound out of there though. I may try it out. Thanks for the heads-up.;)

Or just take the door off like I did when I had my C Wells enclosure back there. Sub doesn't touch the seat, nobody sees it cuz the seat covers it, so I just took the door off ... just an idea, instead of cutting/drilling the door.

I thought about that Ken. It fit back on so I left it. Like I said it doesn't rattle due to the fact that it squeezes up against the sub, but I will probably take it off and see how I like it before going and drilling holes in it. Thanks.;)
