Please Help

Hope someone can give me some info. Took my 01 ST to Ford on Friday for cruise control recall and they didn't have the switch so they unpluged the wire. Yesterday I went for a ride and the temp went up but not to red line, AC went off and I think that the battery stoped charging too. When I stoped and looked under the hood everything looked ok and it was not over heating. No lights came on or anything so I don't know what's up. Does anyone know if when they removed the wire from the cruise control had anything to do with it or what is going on with it? Only 40k miles on it.

Why does the episode of tool time come to mind when Jill ran the car out of oil and told Tim that a bell or buzzer would go off after the oil light came on if it was serious...





Any way, The 2 are not related.....



Check your coolant level in the radiator and the overflow bottle...



You could also have a faulty thermostat or it is time for a coolant flush, I know you have an 01 with low miles but it is 6+ years old...
