PO443? code fix

Anyone know how to fix code p0443 for a 98 ford taurus? I can't find much info about it. Went to have it inspected and before I even get there the light came on... Has to pass emission test. It automatically fails if the engine light is on.

P0443 Evaporative Emission Control System Purge Control Valve Circuit



The code is "P zero four four three" P0443, not "P O four four three".



Just making sure you know it is a letter followed by four numbers. P0443, not po443.

right but is there a part that needs to be replaced?

Possibly a loose or broken vacuum line

Loose or Faulty gas cap?

Maybe the purge valve is bad or the purge flow sensor...
