These are all self contained, the wiring is real obvious where it plugs in because its all male/female connectors. All you have to do is find a 12v power source and ground it out.
Right now I have one hooked up to a power supply from a computer so I can play with it inside the house. I do have the dome light cover as well. There is a audio transmitter I will inlcude too that comes with te unit. Havent fiddled with it yet but it enables sound to be recorded onto your tape (you wear it on your belt) The zoom on this thing is SICK!!!!
This picture is crystal clea ron the monitor, I guess it looks grainy because I have a still digital shot of a video screen.
The words are upside down on the screen because I have the whole unit upside down. You can however roatate and customize any text you want on screen.
