Possible Electric Problems -

I have had my 2005 ST for just over a year and I love it.

Recently after I shut off the engine and open the driver door the radio continues to play. If you open any other door the radio stops and it should.

Also, I noticed that if my lights are left on after I shut off the engine and I open the driver door no alarm is sounding.

Any ideas?

Does the dome light stay on?



I had issues with the door switch once and it just took a little spray lube...

The dome light goes off when the driver door closes but the radio stays on.



My thoughts were the door switch but to tell you the truth, I could not see nor find the door contact switch. Must be loosing it, first the hair then the eyes.



Will locate and see if that is the problem......

If you look at one of my projects, you will see the wire color for the door switch.



Basically, it is mounted directly to the door latch mechanism though...
