I own a 2002 Sport Trac 4x4 edition. One of the items I've always found lack luster in engineering design was the lack of pressurized fuel gauge. The floating gauge system has always driven me bonkers. Whenever the truck is titled/inclined uphill, the gauge registers more fuel. Vice Versa, if the car is pointed downhill, then the gauge registers less fuel. So whenever, I get near or below "E" then it's a guessing game with exactly how much fuel is actually in the tank.

Has anyone ever endeavored to install a pressurized fuel tank system? In my ideal world, I wan't my needle to be consistent. I owned a Honda Civic previously and loved that feature. Why didn't Ford think of this? Please share.

The Evap and tank purging system would have to be modified along with the computer and emissions.... That would be a daunting task....
