Certain race cars will use capacitor style spark plugs, but a race motor is a far cry from a stock ST motor.

Keep to the stock recommendation for replacement and you'll be fine. A stock ignition system with stock components won't benefit much from these plugs. Save some cash and spend it elsewhere.

$25.00 per plug? Are you f'ing kidding me?

Jesse James used to rob people, but he used a gun. Hopefully they use vasaline before they give it to you.

Same discussion over on my Thunderbird Forums.. Consensus seems to be it is about as useful as the Tornado device, but no one wants to lay out $150 for a set of 6 plugs to confirm it...

A1,

want a simple way to test if it works ????

Take all of your spark plug wires off the coil and tape them on but be sure not to push them into the coil for a direct connection.

That will increase the resistance in the system...

This was an old trick if your car got stuck on the side of the road due to fouled plugs.

Also the new ignition systems may not like those plugs..
