Question about the Magellan RoadMate 300

Does anyone have first hand experience with the Magellan RoadMate 300? I've read all sorts of reviews online, but I'd rather hear something from my MYST.com friends. Thanks.

I have a 700 which is suppose to be just like the 300 but can store all of the US on the internal hard drive. I like it very much but there is an upgrade to the 700 software which should make it even better. A similar Software update may be available for the 300.

Here is a report on the Magellan roadmate.







It has been discontinued by Magellan. Does not get very good reviews. Aldi (discount grocery store) is selling a GPS for $300.00 that seems to work very well. I have helped two people setup theirs and they both like it very much. It is simple to setup and use, just something new for the neighbors to learn.
